Gainesville, Florida 09/07-Current
·
Research Assistant/Water Use Analyst
o
Developed water planning and end-use models at various levels of aggregation as
prototypes for enhancements to the Florida water conservation planning tool “EZ-Guide”. These models were
both process level and stochastic in nature and often utilized optimization
techniques. Developed, maintained and supported both ArcSDE® and MS®SQL
servers. This statewide database consisted: FDEP MOR’s, Individual utility
billing data, county and state property appraisal data/geometry,
Landuse/landcover, and Block level census data/geometry. This database was fully
relational and spatially aware and is used to perform complex
geospatial/geostatistical analysis of water use and trends from the
parcel/account level up to a statewide macro view.
